A. LEFT TURN PHASING ADDITION TO THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT BALDWIN AVENUE AND LIVE OAK AVENUE The City Council is requested to review proposed traffic safety improvements at the intersection of Baldwin Avenue and Live Oak Avenue. Presenter: City Traffic Engineer Recommendation: 1. Review the justification for the addition of three-section Flashing Yellow Arrow Protected/Permissive left turn phasing at the intersection of Baldwin Avenue and Live Oak Avenue; 2. Approve the Transportation and Public Safety Commission and staff’s recommendations to proceed with the design and implementation of the left turn signal phasing improvements at the subject intersection and approve attached Resolution No. 23-5681 (Attachment “A”); and 3. Authorize the release of Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure services of a Traffic Signal Design Consultant for the design services.
