C. Award Construction Contract to Granite Construction for the Via De\nAnza Street Improvements Project - Phase III, CIP No. C08841\nRecommendation: To award a construction contract to Granite Construction\nCompany in the amount of $1,016,000 for the construction of\nVia de Anza Street Improvements Project Phase III\n(C08841) and approve a fifteen percent (15%) contingency\nin the amount of $152,400 for any unforeseeable\nconstruction costs; and, approve a budget adjustment in the\namount of $303,803 by allocating funds from the Local\nStreets and Roads Program (SB1) with account number\n248-100-150-156-8800-8802; and, authorize the City\nManager to execute the contract documents; and, authorize\nthe City Engineer to request bonds and insurance for the\nProject, and issue the Notice to Proceed.
