5.5 Award of Contract for Tree Maintenance/Service Agreement. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council to: A. Award the contract to the lowest and responsible bidder, Great Scott Tree Service, Inc., in the amount of $189,968, for one year with four one-year renewal options; and B. Authorize the City Manager to execute the contract and future renewals on behalf of the City.
