E. ACCEPTANCE OF FISCAL YEAR 2021-22 PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT, CIP NO. P19-07 (ROLL OVERED TO FISCAL YEAR 2022-23, CIP NO. 23-02) The City Council is requested to accept the completion of the Fiscal Year 2021-22 Pavement Rehabilitation Project, CIP No. P19-07/CIP No. 23-02 as performed by Onyx Paving Company, Inc. The work was performed within the contractually specified duration and to the City Engineer’s satisfaction. Recommendation: 1. Accept project completion for the Fiscal Year 2021-22, Project No. P19-07 (roll overed to Fiscal Year 2022-23 Pavement Rehabilitation Project, CIP No. P23- 02) as performed by Onyx Paving Company, Inc. for a total amount of $4,049,982.60; 2. Authorize the City Manager to file a project Notice of Completion with the County of Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder; and 3. Authorize the City Manager to release a retention payment of $202,499.13 to Onyx Paving Company, Inc. within 35 days following recordation of the Notice of Completion.
