Environmental Considerations: The proposed action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301 (c) of the CEQA Guidelines. This section exempts projects characterized as minor alterations to public facilities, involving negligible or no expansion of the existing use. The proposed project involves signing and striping changes on an existing public street and does not create additional automobile lanes and meets the CEQA criteria for this exemption.
