35. Approve agreement between the City of Hawthorne and The Lovejoy Foundation for Animal Sheltering Services. RECOMMENDED MOTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve an agreement with The Lovejoy Foundation, to provide animal sheltering services for the City of Hawthorne, appropriate $72,000.00 from the General Fund to the Animal Service Account (100-2101-230-00-40514) to cover the increase in costs of the agreement, and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement any and all amendments thereto.
