2.a. Public Hearing and Consideration of Proposed Programs\nand Activities to be submitted to the County of Orange for\nCommunity Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding for\nFiscal Year 2024-25 Fiscal Impact: CDBG Funds in the\namount of $358,886 for Fiscal Year 2024-25\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City\nCouncil:\n1) Open the Public Hearing to consider proposed\nprograms and activities for the Community\nDevelopment Block Grant Funding for Fiscal Year\n2024-25; and\n2) Receive the Staff report, consider all public testimony,\nask any questions of Staff; and\n3) Close the Public Hearing; and\n4) Authorize the City Administrator to submit an\napplication to the County of Orange to receive CDBG\nFunds to support public service programs, public\nfacilities improvements, housing rehabilitation needs,\nand administrative expenses for Fiscal Year 2024-25;\nand\n5) Authorize the City Administrator to execute all\nnecessary documents, in a form approved by the City\nAttorney.\nStaff Report
