G. CONTRACT AWARD - WATER RECLAMATION PLANT (WRP) SPLITTER BOX REHABILITATION, AND FINDING THE PROJECT CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 15301 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT GUIDELINES Staff Recommendation Adopt Resolution No. 23-126, which will: 1. Find the WRP Splitter Box Rehabilitation, CIP Project No. 14206, is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Class 1 (Existing Facilities, 14 CCR section 15301) of the State CEQA Guidelines. 2. Award the WRP Splitter Box Rehabilitation, CIP Project No. 14206, construction contract to Jennette Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. 3. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C23-64, by and between the City of San Clemente and Jennette Company, Inc., providing for the Water Reclamation Plant Splitter Box Rehabilitation, in an amount not to exceed $379,500, in a form substantially similar to Contract No. C23-64 (Attachment 4). 4. Approve a 19% project contingency of $72,100.
