4. Request to renew the Police Department jail services contract with Starside Security & Investigation Inc. It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve the contract with Starside for jail services, subject to any additional non-substantive changes made by the City Attorney and Chief Executive Officer; and 2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement; and 3. Direct staff to release a Request for Proposal prior to the end or the proposed term expiration.
