8. ACCEPTANCE OF THE 2022, 2023 AND 2024 EMERGENCY23-1457 MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE GRANT RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council: 1. Approve the Agreement to Transfer Funds for the 2022 Emergency Management Performance Grant Program (EMPG) (the “Agreement”) and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement. 2. Adopt Resolution No. 2023-XX which authorizes the application for and acceptance of funds under the EMPG Program for Years 2022, 2023, and 2024 and authorizes the City Manager, or designee, to take all action necessary to obtain the funding. 3.
