A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTEREY PARK, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER 2023 AS HUMAN RIGHTS MONTH IN COMMEMORATION OF THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE UNITED NATION’S UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS (Requested by Mayor Sanchez) It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Adopting a Resolution declaring the month of December 2023 as Human Rights Month in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the United Nation’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights; and (2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
