5-C. 2023 MONTEREY PARK GENERAL PLAN AND HOUSING ELEMENT ANNUAL PROGRESS\nREPORT\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Receiving and filing the 2023 General Plan and Housing Element Annual Progress Report;\n(2) Directing staff to forward a copy of the report to the Governor’s Office of Planning and\nResearch (“OPR”) and the State Department of Housing and Community Development\n(“HCD”) before April 1, 2024; and\n(3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
