A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTEREY PARK,\nCALIFORNIA, DECLARING AND RECOGNIZING THE MONTH OF MARCH 2024 AS\nWOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH, A NATIONAL CELEBRATION THAT HIGHLIGHTS THE\nCONTRIBUTIONS OF WOMEN TO EVENTS IN HISTORY AND CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY\n(REQUESTED BY MAYOR WONG)\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Adopting a Resolution declaring and recognizing the month of March 2024 as Women’s\nHistory Month, a national celebration that highlights the contributions of women to events\nin history and contemporary society; and\n(2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
