5. Waive Formal Bid Procedures and Authorize the Purchase from Shaw\nIntegrated Solutions, Inc. for CIP24-051-051-56017 & CIP21-193\nReplacement of Police Department Dispatch Carpet & Flooring and\nEsther Snyder Community Center Gymnasium Wall Carpet\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Waive formal bid procedures pursuant to Section 34.23(C) of the\nBaldwin Park Municipal Code; and\n2. Authorize the purchase in the amount of $53,770.02; and\n3. Authorize the Director of Recreation & Community Services to\nexecutive any other associated documents needed for the purchase;\nand\n4.\nAuthorize the Director of Finance to appropriate funds included in\nthe FY 23-24 CIP and make necessary adjustments to the budget as\nwell as the appropriation of $3,943.76 of General Fund to cover the\nadditional cost for CIP24-051-56017.\nSTAFF REPORT
