APPROVAL OF PROPOSED GUIDELINES FOR THE LAS TUNAS DRIVE STREETSCAPE CAFÉ FURNITURE AND STOREFRONT IMPROVEMENT GRANT PROGRAM AND METAL ENTRY SIGNS The City Council is requested to consider the proposed guidelines for the Café Furniture Grant Program and the Storefront Improvement Grant Program for Signs and Awnings, and design and placement of Metal Entry Signs. Presenter: Community Development Director Recommendation: 1. Approve guidelines for the Café Furniture Grant Program and the Storefront Improvement Grant Program for Signs and Awnings; 2. Waive all sign, sidewalk dining, and encroachment permit fees for projects approved under the grant programs; and 3. Approve designs and placement of Metal Entry Signs.
