5-C. 2023 MONTEREY PARK GENERAL PLAN AND HOUSING ELEMENT ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Receiving and filing the 2023 General Plan and Housing Element Annual Progress Report; (2) Directing staff to forward a copy of the report to the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (“OPR”) and the State Department of Housing and Community Development (“HCD”) before April 1, 2024; and (3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
