4-A. ANNUAL WEED ABATEMENT PROTEST HEARING It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Opening the public hearing, receiving public comment, closing the public hearing; (2) Adopting a Resolution declaring that weeds, brush, rubbish and refuse upon or in front of specified property in the city are a seasonal and recurrent public nuisance, and declaring its intention to provide for abatement; and/or (3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable. CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act): Adoption of this Resolution is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) under CEQA Guidelines § 15061(b)(3) because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the Resolution may have a significant effect on the environment.
