6. CONTRACT AMENDMENT: HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING\n(HVAC) MAINTENANCE FOR CITY HALL, CIVIC CENTER LIBRARY, POLICE\nDEPARTMENT AND FIRE STATION NO. 71 – F2M22-44, C2M22-42, M2M24-41\nThe City entered into a three-year contract with Allison Mechanical, Inc. for Heating,\nVentilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance services, commencing on August\n1, 2022 until June 30, 2025. To improve service and provide better maintenance of the\nHVAC systems of the Fire Department’s facilities not currently included in the contract,\nstaff requested quotes from Allison Mechanical for Fire Stations 72, 73, and 74 and the\nTraining Facility. Services for these locations are currently completed on an as-needed or\non-call basis. Staff is seeking to include these facilities on a quarterly preventive\nmaintenance schedule. Allison Mechanical submitted a proposal for an additional\n$14,457.00 for the remaining two years of the contract.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve a contract amendment, subject to final\nlanguage approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, by and between the City of\nAlhambra and Allison Mechanical, Inc. for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning\n(HVAC) maintenance services for an additional $14,457 for a contract amount not to\nexceed $349,653; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s\naction.
