17. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 24-24 TO APPLY TO CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND FIRE PROTECTION'S URBAN FORESTRY PROGRAM AND COMMUNITY GRANT PROGRAM RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Adopt Resolution No. 24-24 authorizing the appropriate City staff member to execute and sign the document and to work with TreePeople to submit the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection's Urban Forestry Program application; and, 2. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
