L. CONTRACT AWARD - SIDEWALK REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS AND FINDING THE PROJECT CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT Staff Recommendation Adopt Resolution No. 24-58, which will: 1. Find the Sidewalk Repairs and Improvements, CIP Project No. 24304, categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Class 1 (Existing Facilities, 14 CCR section 15301) of the State CEQA Guidelines. 2. Award the Sidewalk Repairs and Improvements contract to CJ Concrete Construction, Inc. 3. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C24- 21, by and between the City of San Clemente and CJ Concrete Construction, Inc., providing for the Sidewalk Repairs and Improvements, in an amount not to exceed $165,620, in a form substantially similar to Contract No. 24-21 (Attachment 4). 4. Approve a 10% construction contingency of $16,560 for this project.
