City Council: Introduction of an Ordinance amending Chapter 2, Section 2.10(q)(1) and Section 2.10 (r) and Chapter 28A of the Oceanside City Code to increase the City Manager’s purchasing authority from $50,000 up to $100,000, increase the City Manager’s signing authority for change orders from 10% or $10,000 to 10% or $20,000, require formal bidding procedures for purchases of $100,000 or more, and permit the acceptance of electronic bids though the use of on-line bid boards; and approval of an amendment to City Council Policy 300-01 to clarify when change orders on public works projects require City Council approval A) Report by Jill Moya, Financial Services Director B) Discussion C) Recommendation – introduce ordinance and approve amendment 6:00 P.M.
