CONTRACT SERVICES AGREEMENTS FOR ON-CALL SERVICES -\nBUILDING SAFETY PLAN CHECK AND PROFESSIONAL STAFFING\nSERVICES\nSummary:\nThe City Council will consider authorizing the City Manager to execute four (4)\non-call Contract Services Agreements with qualified firms (CSG Consultants,\nInc, Interwest Consulting Group, Inc, Shums Coda Associates, and TRB +\nAssociates, Inc) to provide on-call Building Safety plan check and professional\nstaffing services, for a not-to-exceed annual amount of $200,000 each. The\nCommunity Development Department utilizes these services to provide\ndevelopment related services to residents and businesses, thereby\naccomplishing its annual goals as defined by the City Council in the approved\nannual Operating Budget.\nStrategic Plan Goal(s):\nGoal No. 1 Financial Stability: Ensure the City’s long-term financial stability\nand resilience.\nGoal No. 3 Economic & Downtown Development: Improve the local\neconomy, support local businesses, and create a vibrant\ndowntown core.\nGoal No. 5 High Functioning Government: Strengthen internal communication,\nrecruitment, retention, systems, and processes to increase the\neffectiveness and efficiency of City services.\nRecommendations:\n1. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a four-year Contract Services\nAgreement, with two additional one-year extensions, with CSG\nConsultants, Incorporated, to provide on-call Building Safety plan check\nand professional staffing services, for a not-to-exceed amount of\n$200,000 annually, in a form approved by the City Attorney.\n2. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a four-year Contract Services\nAgreement, with two additional one-year extensions, with Interwest\nConsulting Group, Incorporated, to provide on-call Building Safety plan\ncheck and professional services, for a not-to-exceed amount of $200,000\nannually, in a form approved by the City Attorney.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a four-year Contract Services\nAgreement, with two additional one-year extensions, with Shums Coda\nAssociates, to provide on-call Building Safety plan check and professional\nstaffing services, for a not-to-exceed amount of $200,000 annually, in a\nform approved by the City Attorney.\n4. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a four-year Contract Services\nAgreement, with two additional one-year extensions, with TRB+\nAssociates, Incorporated, to provide on-call Building Safety plan check\nand professional staffing services, for a not-to-exceed amount of\n$200,000 annually, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
