5. Request for Authorization to Purchase a Laser 3D Scanner. It is recommended that the City Council 1. Authorize the Police Department to purchase the requested FARO 3D laser scanner and accessories; and 2. Authorize the Director of Finance to appropriate $63,743.26. from the Police Special Funds- Traffic Safety Fund #271; and 3. Authorize the Chief of Police or his designee to complete all appropriate documentation for the purchase.
