11.b AWARD PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS TO A. PREMAN ROOFING, INC., THE GARLAND COMPANY, INC., LOGHMANI & ASSOCIATES DESIGN GROUP, INC. FOR VARIOUS SPORTS PARK BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECTS; AND AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF AN ADDITIONAL $1,500,000 TO THE PROJECT Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 2024-034 to: (1) award a Public Works contract to A. Preman Roofing, Inc. for an amount not-to-exceed $130,000 for the replacement of the roof of the Sports Park Building; and (2) award a sole source purchase contract for an amount not-to- exceed $255,000 to The Garland Company, Inc. for the provision of the roofing materials and product warranty. Adopt Resolution No. 2024-035 to (1) award a Public Works contract to Loghmani & Associates Design Group, Inc. for an amount not-to-exceed $2,550,000 for the Sports Park Building Improvements Project; and (2) to authorize the appropriation of an additional $1,500,000 to the Project’s budget.
