9.b. CONSIDERATION AND ADOPTION OF THE 2023 UPDATE TO THE\nPAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM\nTo effectively optimize the City’s limited fiscal resources, City staff enlisted\nthe services of Bucknam Infrastructure Group, Inc to develop a Pavement\nManagement Plan (PMP). This plan provides current data on the City’s\nstreet networks and formulates cost-effective maintenance and\nrehabilitation strategies to maintain a desirable level of pavement\nperformance on a network scale.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Receive and file the Updated 2023 Pavement Management Program;\n2. Adopt and approve the recommended 5-year pavement program,\nallocating an annual budget of approximately $1.4 million, resulting in a\ntotal budget of approximately $7 million over 5 years; and\n3. Direct the City Manager to implement the plan.
