14. APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT NO. 3878 WITH SHOCKWAVE ELECTRIC FOR A ONE-\nYEAR TERM EXTENSION AND INCREASE OF ANNUAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve Amendment No. 1 to Agreement 3878 between the City of Montebello and Shockwave Electric\nfor a One (1) Year Term Extension and increase the not-to-exceed amount from $45,000 to $85,000; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Amendment on behalf of the City; and\n3. Approve by a four-fifths vote of the City Council the emergency repairs to sports field lights at Chet\nHolifield Park per Municipal Code Section 3.20 – Purchase System, Section 3.20.050 - Conformance with\nbidding procedures, subsection D; and\n4. Amend the Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget by increasing appropriations by $40,000 in Account No. 100-30-\n720-6040.10 (General Fund, Public Works, Park Maintenance, Contract Services Outside Contracts);\nand\n5. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
