11. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 24-12 AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATIONS TO THE FEDERAL\nTRANSIT ADMINISTRATION FOR FUNDING TO PURCHASE ZERO-EMISSION BUSES UNDER THE LOW\nOR NO EMISSION GRANT PROGRAM AND THE GRANTS FOR BUSES AND BUS FACILITIES PROGRAM\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 24-12 authorizing the City of Montebello to submit applications to the Federal\nTransit Administration (FTA) to receive funding for two (2) grant programs: (i) the Low or No Emission\nGrant Program (“Low-No Program”) in the amount of $10,500,000; and (ii) the Grants for Buses and Bus\nFacilities Program (“Bus and Bus Facilities Program”) in the amount of $10,500,000 (collectively,\nhereinafter the “Grants”); and\n2. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
