APPROVAL OF THE SALARY SCHEDULE REFLECTING ALL CITY JOB\nCLASSIFICATIONS; AND\nAPPROVAL OF A ONE-TIME GENERAL FUND APPROPRIATION OF $23,000;\nAND\nAPPROVAL OF ONE-TIME APPROPRIATIONS FROM OTHER VARIOUS\nFUNDS TOTALING $32,800.\nComment: Staff recommends that the City Council approve the salary schedule\nreflecting all City job classifications and associated salaries in order to meet the\nCalifornia Public Employees' Retirement System requirements of Government Code\nSection 20636 (b)(1) and California Code of Regulations, Title 2, Section 570.5.\nStaff also recommends that the City Council approve a one-time General Fund\nappropriation of $23,000 and one-time appropriations from various other funds\ntotaling $32,800 related to increased costs resulting from job classification studies.\nThe ongoing increase to the budget will be included in the upcoming proposed\nbudget for FY2024-25.
