12. APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 24-57 ACCEPTING THE SUFFICIENCY OF THE RECALL PETITION AND APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 24-59 REQUESTING CONSOLIDATION OF THE RECALL WITH THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024 RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve Resolution No. 24-57, accepting the certificate of sufficiency of signatures on the petition to recall Councilmember Angie Jimenez; and 2. Approve Resolution No. 24-58, calling for the holding of a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the submission of the question of the recall of Angie Jimenez; and 3. Approve Resolution No. 24-59, requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles to consolidate the Recall Election with the General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, 4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
