16. SIDE LETTERS OF AGREEMENT TO THE MEMORANDA OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN THE CITY OF MONTEBELLO AND THE FOLLOWING EMPLOYEE BARGAINING UNITS: MONTEBELLO CITY EMPLOYEES’ ASSOCIATION; INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SHEET METAL, AIR, RAIL AND TRANSPORTATION WORKERS – TRANSPORTATION DIVISION; MONTEBELLO MID-MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION; MONTEBELLO SUPERVISORS’ ASSOCIATION; MONTEBELLO MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONALS’ ASSOCIATION; MONTEBELLO POLICE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION; MONTEBELLO FIREFIGHTERS’ ASSOCIATION; MONTEBELLO FIRE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION; AND MONTEBELLO EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Authorize the City Manager to execute side letters of agreement to the Memoranda of Understanding (“MOU”) between the City of Montebello and each of the following employee bargaining units: Montebello City Employees’ Association (“MCEA”); International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers – Transportation Division (“SMART-TD”); Montebello Mid-Managers’ Association (“MMMA”); Montebello Supervisors’ Association (“MSA”); Montebello Management Professionals’ Association (“MMPA”); Montebello Police Management Association (“MPMA”); Montebello Firefighters’ Association (“MFA”); Montebello Fire Management Association (“MFMA”); and Montebello Executive Management Association (“MEMA”) modifying City healthcare benefits contribution amounts; and 2. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
