9. ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A REPORT MADE BY THE FIRE CHIEF OF\nTHE BEVERLY HILLS FIRE DEPARTMENT REGARDING COMPLIANCE\nWITH THE ANNUAL INSPECTION OF CERTAIN OCCUPANCIES PURSUANT\nTO SECTIONS 13146.2 AND 13146.3 OF THE CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND\nSAFETY CODE.\nComment: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt a resolution\nacknowledging that the Beverly Hills Fire Department has fulfilled the requirements\nof California Health & Safety Code, Sections 13146.2 and 13146.3 which mandates\nall fire departments that provide fire protection services to perform annual\ninspections in every building identified as a public or private school, hotel, motel,\nlodging house, apartment house, and certain identified residential care facilities for\ncompliance with building standards, to the City Council.
