2. Acceptance of the U.S. Department of Justice Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2024-06 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE U.S DEPARTMENT OF\nJUSTICE BULLETPROOF VEST PARTNERSHIP GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF\n$1,073 AND AMENDING THE FY2023-24 OPERATING BUDGET BY INCREASING\nREVENUE ESTIMATES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SAME AMOUNT\n2) Authorize the use of Sourcewell Cooperative contract #011221-URM to U.S. Armor\nCorporation for the purchase of bulletproof vest body armor in the amount of $2,146.\n3) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute any and all agreements on behalf\nof the City.
