16. Adopt a Resolution Amending the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget for “Water Resources\nBuilding,” Project No. 575-8125-XXXXX-93135 and, Approve a Second Amendment to\nProfessional Services Agreement with Griffin Structures, Inc.\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2024-40 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL\nIMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $325,000 FROM\nWATER FUND RESERVES and $325,000 FROM SEWER FUND RESERVES\n(TOTALING $650,000) TO THE “WATER RESOURCES BUILDING,” PROJECT NO.\n575-8125-XXXXX-93135\n2) Approve the second amendment to the professional services agreement with Griffin\nStructures, Inc. (Griffin) for the “Water Resources Building” project increasing the\ncontract amount by $140,000 from $550,832 to $690,832; and,\n3) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the agreement amendment with\nGriffin, contingent upon City Attorney review.
