6) CONSIDERATION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION\nPLAN FOR DEPARTMENT HEAD CLASSIFICATIONS APPOINTED BY THE CITY MANAGER AND\nRESCINDING RESOLUTION NOS. 7973 AND 7973(A), AND AMENDING THE SALARY PLAN FOR\nFISCAL YEAR 2023-2024\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Adopt Resolution No. 8289 establishing the salary and benefits for Department Head\nclassifications (Executive Compensation Plan) that are appointed by the City Manager;\nb. Rescind Resolution Nos. 7973 and 7973(a) that set forth the prior Department Head\ncompensation plan;\nc. Adopt Resolution No. 8290 amending the Salary Plan for Fiscal Year 2023-2024; and\nd. Authorize the City Manager to make non-substantive corrections and execute all related\ndocuments.
