CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT APPLICATION AND\nWAIVER OF FEES FOR COMMUNITY EVENT ON MAY 4, 2024 IN CELEBRATION OF CINCO\nDE MAYO.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1) Consider and approve the request for a Special Event Permit to allow for a one-time community boxing\nevent on May 4, 2024;\n2) Authorize the closure of the public parking lot for the duration of the event;\n3) Authorize the City Manager to execute the Special Event Permit Agreement in a form acceptable to the\nCity Attorney, on behalf of the City; and\n4) Make a finding that the community at-large will receive a public benefit from the expenditure of funds\nfor the recommended items and waive associated costs.\nTotal Cost: N/A Is the Cost of this item budgeted?
