18. Award of Construction Contract to Loengreen, Inc. in the Amount of $259,300 and\nApprove an Amendment to an Existing Purchase Order for Westgroup Designs, Inc. to\nProvide Professional Consultant Services in the Amount of $70,000 for “City Hall Complex\nRemodel and Flooring,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-74115\nIt is recommended that the City Council approve the following actions:\n1) Award a construction contract to Loengreen, Inc. for “City Hall Complex Remodel and\nFlooring,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-74115, to include all Base Bid items, plus\nAdditive Alternate Nos. 1 and 2, in the amount of $259,300;\n2) Approve an Amendment to the existing purchase order for Professional Architecture\nServices to Westgroup Designs, Inc. in the amount of $70,000 for basic services, plus\nAdditive Alternate Nos. 1 and 2;\n3) Find that the Project referenced above is categorically exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301(C) and that the\nproposed Project will not have a significant effect on the environment;\n4) Approve an increase in contingency capacity to 75% due to the scope of the work,\nincluding furniture, along with the additional alternate work;\n5) Approve working days and hours to include nights and weekends; and\n6) Authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the construction\ncontract/agreement and related documents (permits, etc.).
