3) CONSIDERATION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN\nOBSOLETE RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY’S RECORDS RETENTION SCHEDULE\nFOR THE MAINTENANCE AND DISPOSITION OF RECORDS\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Adopt Resolution No. 8291 authorizing the City Clerk and City Attorney to destroy\nobsolete records per the Destruction List Approval and detailed in the Request for\nDestruction of Records pursuant to the State of California, Government Code Section\n34090 and the City’s approved Records Retention Schedule for the Maintenance and\nDisposition of Records;\nb. Authorize the City Clerk to certify the Certificate of Destruction; and\nc. Authorize the City Clerk to take all related actions to dispose of such records.
