D. CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION AWARDING A THREE-YEAR MAINTENANCE SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH TWO OPTIONAL ONE-YEAR EXTENSIONS TO GREAT SCOTT TREE SERVICE, INC., AND FINDING THE PROJECT CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT Staff Recommendation Adopt Resolution No. 24-174, which will: 1. Determine that the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Class 1 (Existing Facilities, 14 CCR 15301), Section 15301 of the state CEQA Guidelines. 2. Award a Three-Year Maintenance Services Agreement, with two optional one-year renewals exercisable under the City Manager's discretion, to Great Scott Tree Service, Inc. 3. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C24- 67, by and between the City of San Clemente and Great Scott Tree Service, Inc., providing for tree trimming services, in the amount of $310,619 for year one, $319,937.57 for year two and $329,535.70 for year three with up to an annual $60,000 per year supplement for emergency services.
