Item No. 17. 2024-0135 CONSIDER ADOPTING RESOLUTION NO. 24-030\nAND AWARDING A CONTRACT SERVICES\nAGREEMENT WITH SWAYZER CORPORATION FOR\nMOWING AND LANDSCAPE SERVICES FOR THE\nDEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES/PARK\nMAINTENANCE DIVISION (CITY COUNCIL).\nRecommendation: TAKE the following actions:\n1. WAIVE further reading and ADOPT Resolution No. 24-030.\n2. APPROVE an initial two-year Contract Services Agreement,\nwith two (2) one-year extensions at the City's discretion, with\nSwayzer Corporation to provide mowing and landscape services\nto the City of Carson for a total not-to-exceed contract amount of\n$822,705.36.\n3. AUTHORIZE the expenditure of a 10% contingency in the\namount of $82,271 for the two-year term of the original contract for\nany unforeseen circumstances that will require additional work.\n4.
