3. A Public Hearing for the consideration of a resolution required to submit Federal Transit\nAdministration (FTA) grant applications and receive input on the availability of non-profit\ntransportation service providers to render para-transit service (Strategic Plan Item 54-IMCIF)\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: Open and conduct the Public Hearing, accept evidence and\ntestimony presented, and in the absence of evidence to the contrary, consider the following: 1.\nMake a finding that there are no non-profit agencies readily available to carry out the proposed\nservice within the City of Glendora; and, 2. Adopt a City Council Resolution entitled, “A\nResolution of the City Council of the City of Glendora, California, authorizing the Community\nDevelopment Director to sign the General Certifications and Assurances Required to submit FTA\ngrant applications.”
