Item No. 20. 2024-0120 CONSIDER RECORDIN G A “NOTICE OF\nEXEMPTION” IN THE OFFICE OF THE LOS ANGELES\nCOUNTY CLERK AND WITH THE STATE CLEARING\nHOUSE FOR PROJECT NO. 1787 (CITY HALL 2ND\nFLOOR CARPET UPGRADES), PURSUANT TO\nSECTION 15301 OF THE CALIFORNIA\nENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT GUIDELINES (CITY\nCOUNCIL)\nRecommendation: TAKE the following actions:\n1. AUTHORIZE staff to advertise the work and call for construction\nbids for Project No. 1787: City Hall 2nd Floor Carpet Upgrades.\n2. MAKE the California Environmental Quality Act finding that the\nproposed City Hall 2nd Floor Carpet Upgrades are categorically\nexempt pursuant to Section 15301 of the California Environmental\nQuality Act guidelines.\n3.
