8.1 ACCEPTANCE OF 2024 DODGERS DREAMTEAM YOUTH BASEBALL/SOFTBALL\nGRANT PROGRAM AGREEMENT\nComments:\nThe Recreation & Community Services Department applied for grant funding from the Los\nAngeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF). Approval would allow the City to continue its\npartnership as a Dodgers Dreamteam affiliate youth baseball and softball program. The\nLADF has notified staff that its application was successful and the partnership will\ncontinue for the 2024 Lynwood Youth Baseball & Softball (LYBS) seasons. Staff is\nrequesting that the City Council formally accept the grant through adopted Resolution.\n(REC)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled, “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL APPROVING AN AGREEMENT\nWITH THE LOS ANGELES DODGERS FOUNDATION FOR THE 2024 DODGERS\nDREAMTEAM LYNWOOD YOUTH BASEBALL & SOFTBALL PROGRAM.”
