7.2 City Council Appointments to City Commissions and Committees for 2025-2027. RECOMMENDATION: Consider the applications and appoint members to the following Commissions and Committees: A. One regular member as recommended by District 3 Council Member Mark Nguyen to the Citizens Oversight Committee (Measure Y and E) to serve at the pleasure of the appointing council member and will serve until the council member leaves office or the disbandment of the committee; B. Five regular members to the Parks & Recreation Commission for a term to expire in December 2026, waiving other applicable requirements; C. Five regular members to the Planning Commission for a term to expire in December 2026, waiving other applicable requirements; D. Five regular members to the Cultural Arts Commission for a term to expire in December 2026, waiving other applicable requirements; and E. Five regular members to the Traffic Commission for a term to expire in December 2026, waiving other applicable requirements.
