8B. STATUS REPORT ON CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE POSITION VACANCIES AND RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION EFFORTS IN COMPLIANCE WITH ASSEMBLY BILL 2561/GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 3502.3 Public Hearing as required by Government Code § 3502.3 to provide a status of vacancies and recruitment and retention efforts to the City Council. Additionally, the City must identify any changes to policies, procedures or recruitment activities that impact the City’s efforts to reduce its vacancies. Staff Recommendation 1. Open the Public Hearing for the status report on City of San Clemente position vacancies and recruitment and retention efforts in compliance with Assembly Bill 2561/Government Code Section 3502.3 2. Close the public hearing and receive and file the Administrative Report, dated June 6, 2025 and on file with the City Clerk, as an information item.
