4. Consideration to Allocate Funds for the Implementation of Services for Families Impacted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Authorize the Director of Finance to appropriate $216,000 from the General Fund to immediately implement services for families impacted by recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement actions, and to make the necessary budget adjustments; and 2. Direct staff to prepare and submit a formal funding request to the Measure BP Stakeholders Oversight Committee (SOC) for review and consideration; and 3. Authorize the Interim Director of Recreation & Community Services to coordinate all elements associated with the Program.
