21. 25-635 Adopt Resolution No. 2025-53 Updating the Uniform Bail Schedule for Parking Violations & Establishing CPI-Based Annual Adjustments Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. 2025-53, “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach Adopting an Amended Uniform Bail Schedule for Parking Violations”, which rescinds Resolution No. 2020-53 and approves an updated Uniform Bail Schedule for parking violations, as outlined in Exhibit A. The resolution also establishes a $25 administrative fee for late payment of parking citations in accordance with California Vehicle Code Section 40207(a) and introduces an annual adjustment to parking fines based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the Los Angeles-Riverside-Orange County region. This CPI adjustment will be annually applied automatically to help ensure that fines remain equitable and reflect changes in inflation. Public Works
