14. REJECT BIDS RECEIVED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE SENIOR CENTER REMODEL PROJECT (CP 925) RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Reject bids received for construction of the Senior Center Remodel Project (CP 925) in accordance with Public Contract Code Section 22038(a)(1); and 2. Authorize staff to modify the project scope of work in conformance with all applicable engineering standards; and 3. Authorize staff to re-advertise the Notice Inviting Bid in accordance with Public Contract Code Section 22038(a)(1); and 4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
