12.12 Increase Appropriation of 2024 State Homeland Security Program Funds for Approved Expenditures in the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget. RECOMMENDATION OF BUSINESS ITEM UNDER CONSIDERATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Authorize an increase in appropriation in the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget in the amount of $95,000 from available 2024 SHSP funds to the appropriate expenditure accounts for approved equipment; 2. Authorize the use of 2024 SHSP funds for the acquisition of approved expenditure consistent with 2024 SHSP expenditure guidelines and City purchasing policies; and 3. Authorize the City Manager, or Chief of Police, to sign and approve all documents, purchase, or contractual modifications or adjustments.
