CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 7967 AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A $25,000 GRANT FROM THE CALIFORNIA FIRE FOUNDATION FOR AN EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS COMMUNITY OUTREACH PLAN AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. XXXX APPROPRIATING THE GRANT FUNDS Recommendation Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 7967: 1. Authorizing acceptance of a $25,000 grant award from the California Fire Foundation to implement an Emergency Preparedness Community Outreach Plan to increase community enrollment in the City’s emergency alerting and communication system (Attachment 1); and 2. Authorizing the City Manager (or designee) to execute all grant agreements and related documents required to receive and administer the funds, subject to City Attorney review; and
