(25) 26-0313 MOTION (PARK - PRICE) relative to a contract between the City of Los Angeles and the United States Golf Association (USGA) to provide supplemental City services for the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open Championship. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. INSTRUCT the City Administrative Officer (CAO) and the Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA) to negotiate a contract between the City and the USGA to provide supplemental City services for the USWO Event, and that the USGA pay for full reimbursement of all provided supplemental City services, in accordance with Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 41.20.1( c) Events at Major Sports and Entertainment Venues. 2. AUTHORIZE the use of supplemental Police law enforcement services to support the USGA during the USWO Event, with full reimbursement of Police law enforcement services, in accordance with California Government Code section 53069.8. 3. AUTHORIZE the CAO to execute and administer the contract between the City and USGA for the above supplemental City services, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form.
